Definition

Anilingus or analingus consists of stimulating one's sexual partner by using one's tongue or mouth in and around the anus. The anus is one of the erogenous zones of the body whose stimulation can lead to orgasm in certain cases. Anilingus can spread sexually transmitted diseases like hepatitis or herpes, but it can also spread bacteria or intestinal parasites. The transmission of HIV is rare in oral-anal practices. Anilingus requires good hygiene and the wearing of a dental dam, latex protection to avoid any contamination.
