Attention is an intellectual, cognitive, and executive ability. It is required in combination with other higher functions to correctly process and organize perceived information, build perception and conceptualization, and perform a task. Attention skills are unique to each individual. In the case of attention deficit, concentration is reduced, if not impossible, and prevents the understanding of information, but also its processing and memorization. ADHD, or attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, concerns mainly teenagers, and combines, as its name suggests, lack of attention and hyperactivity and is responsible for academic and social development difficulties.
