Definition

The term auricular may refer to two parts of the human body. First, auricular defines all that is associated with the ear. Second, it relates to the fifth finger located at the extremity of the hand, commonly called the little finger. Its name comes from the fact that this finger can slide into the ear. The auricular finger has an important role in the movements of the hand due to its opposition to the thumb, which allows the hand to grasp and hold onto objects.
