Definition

Gerontology is different from geriatrics and is the study of the aging process in humans as well as their living conditions. It is not specific to medicine and also concerns sociological, economic, and epidemiological concepts ... Gerontology is essentially conducting research in various fields to understand what causes the different changes that the aging body undergoes and the consequences of these changes.
