Hello,

I frequently get vaginal infections, I think it's called vaginitis.

Could you please tell me the causes and how to prevent them?

Thank you for your help.

Hi

Vaginitis just means inflammation of the vagina, not necessarily infection.

It is important you are appropriately assessed and have have an examination as well as swabs for infections including sexually transmitted infections.

It is important that you attend all of your cervical screening invitations.

Finally, using tampons, poor hygiene, unprotected sexual intercourse can all cause infections and inflammation.
