Bleeding gums are caused by inflammation due to food particals lodged between the gums and the teeth as well as tart. Rarely, bleeding gums can also be caused by a lack of vitamins.

You dentist can perform in depth cleaning which is painless.

Remember to brush regularly, use dental floss and antiseptic mouth wash.

I have had this problem for several years without realising.

What worked for me is Corsodyl mouth wash containing 0.2% chlorhexidine morning and night for about 8 weeks

It has an unpleasant side effect of leaving a bitter taste in your mouth for a long time
