Shapeless legs

The phenomenon of tired legs is rather difficult to treat. However, daily exercises and refining your diet can help defining your ankles.

Causes of shapeless legs

Shapeless legs are caused by a poor lymphatic system and blood circulation in the lower legs. The poor performance of the lymphatic system and a poor blood circulation cause cellulite to settle in the ankles. Water retention, hereditary factors and pregnancy can cause this problem.

Keep active and eat healthily

Keeping active daily, playing sports regularly and eating a low fat diet will limit the appearance of cellulite. It does not matter what sports you participate in, what is important is to enjoy yourself! Change some of you habits to walking or cycling to work rather than taking the car or public transport.

Stimulate your blood circulation

This is especially beneficial for tired heavy legs as well as shapeless legs,
  • Wear 'support' or 'compression' stockings or tights - see your pharmacist to be measured.
  • Keep your legs elevated when sitting. The higher you can elevate them the better the blood return will be.
  • Avoid standing for long periods.
