Depression is characterized by dull mood, loss of energy, frequent irritation, loss of appetite, fear of the future, frequent crying, constant sadness, and sleep disorders. There are different stages of depression, and you may have all of the symptoms or just a few.

All around the world, depression takes many victims daily. It is the most common mood disorder, along with anxiety. Men are twice as likely as women to experience a depressive episode in their lives.

Treating Depression

Depression is a psychological or physiological disorder caused by a deficiency in hormonal production, as well as other factors.

Depression must not be taken lightly: it will not go away by itself. One must consult their physician immediately if they suspect that they are suffering from depression.
