Loyalty - Definition


Loyalty defines a person who demonstrates loyal character, which is to say faithful to one's engagements and demonstrating integrity. This term corresponds to a moral virtue and shows the degree of devotion of an individual towards another. Loyalty may assume various forms according to its field of application. In the sector of family therapy, loyalty means the respect of rules established by a family, while in Confucianism, loyalty refers more to notions of reliability and credibility.
