Cinnamon (properties) - Definition


Cinnamon is a spice from the bark of a cinnamon tree. Preventive and curative medicinal properties are attributed to it. It is said that cinnamon affects cholesterol and enables the lowering of cholesterol levels. Some studies have shown a beneficial effect on the regulation of sugar levels in the blood of diabetics. It is sometimes used to treat intestinal disorders or as a stimulant mainly in the form of essential oils. Its antiseptic properties are also advanced.
