Neck pain - Definition

Neck pain refers to pain in the cervical spine. The pain is located in the neck, but because of the nerves going into the upper limbs nearby, they can cause pain radiating down the arm. Neck pain is a common condition and often impedes the movements of the head. It may be accompanied by headache, fatigue, and dizziness. It can be the result of trauma and may appear long after the shock. Neck pain is labeled chronic if it lasts more than six months, the causes are often osteoarthritis or poor professional posture.
