Spermatic colic - Definition

Spermatic colic refers to cramps in the testicles felt by some men after ejaculation. They are commonly found in individuals whose seminal vesicles are inflamed. They occur preferentially in adolescents or young adults. Spermatic colic may be accompanied by swelling of the testicles. Some cases of spermatic colic are due to an obstruction of the bladder that contains semen.
