Testicular itching - Definition

Itching or pruritus, of the testes is relatively common and can have several causes. The itching can be caused by a fungus, an allergy to soap, the presence of parasites such as lice, a skin disease (eczema, psoriasis), or otherwise by an inflammation of the skin (dermatitis) covering the testes due to repeated contact with an irritating material. Once the cause of pruritus is discovered, appropriate treatment is required.
