Male/female coupling - Definition

Male/female coupling is the sexual union between a man and a woman. The sexual organs are the man's penis and the woman's vagina. During sexual union, the penis enters the vagina, this is called coitus. Coupling enables procreation; the man's ejaculation, which ends the coitus, will bring the male gametes (sperm) and the female gamete (ovum) together which results in fertilization (the two cells will then only form a single cell embryo).
