Audio description - Definition

Audio description is a technique developed in the film and television industries, permitting people with visual impairment or blindness to understand the proceedings of the action. The spectator hears a voice that narrates everything happening on-screen, the movements of the actors or the descriptions of the settings. The voice only intervenes between dialogues so that the spectator can understand the totality of the plot.
