Self-hypnosis - Definition

Ask a question

Self-hypnosis is a technique based on relaxation, intended to plunge oneself into a hypnotic state, in order to connect with one's subconscious. This practice exists in certain religions, such as Hinduism, with the goal of confronting one's fears and fantasies, and improving one's psychological, but also physiological, state. People using self-hypnosis enter into a trance state, as in some forms of meditation, and feel relaxed upon coming out of it.
