Smell - Deifnition

Ask a question
The smell is defined as an emanation of volatiles that sense of smell enables the human being to perceive.

Odorous molecules consist of chemical molecules which differ in three separate criteria:
  • their composition,
  • their length
  • spatial organization.

The pleasant or unpleasant smell caused by nature is characterized differently by different people. If any part of this interpretation is innate, the other is socially acquired.

The concentration of an odor in the air also plays an important role in its determination.
