Cetirizine - Definition


Cetirizine is an H1 antihistaminic medication used to treat certain allergic reactions such as conjunctivitis, rhinitis, or bouts of urticaria in patients over the age of two. This medication, in the form of tablets, relieves allergic symptoms within a half-hour of its consumption, and normally lasts for 24 hours. It may be used by pregnant women, at no matter what stage of pregnancy.
