Frontotemporal lobar degeneration is a pathology manifested in personality disorders associated with cognitive problems. This degenerative dementia is relatively frequent in senior citizens and is often found in people within the same family. Frontotemporal lobar degeneration is characterized by behavioral troubles such as negligence of personal hygiene and dressing, inappropriate euphoria, unexpected sputtering, etc. Intellectual troubles are exacerbated and memory loss appears. There is no treatment for this pathology.
