Acid alkaline diet - Definition

The acid alkaline diet is a type of dietary regimen that promotes an organism's equilibrium between acidic and alkaline (of the group of bases) foods and liquids. It generally aims to regulate excess acidity within the organism (acidosis), associated with an unbalanced diet, and a source of stress and low energy. It thus consists of rebalancing the diet by incorporating more alkalinizing food groups such as most fruits and vegetables.
