Quinoa - Health benefits


Quinoa is a herbaceous plant whose seeds are edible. It is native to South America. It is often considered a grain or cereal, but in reality, it is a plant of the same family as spinach, chard or beet.
It's rich in protein and contains all the essential amino acids, making it a very appreciable food for vegetarians.
Gluten-free, it can be consumed by people who are intolerant. It is also rich in fiber and minerals.
