Melon - Health benefits


The melon is a fruit for which we don't suspect all the benefits. Indeed, it is firstly rich in carotene (provitamin A) and vitamin C. These confer it antioxidant properties, it contribute to the growth and cell development, and helps collagen production and healing.

Also rich in potassium, the melon is diuretic. In addition, it has good amounts of magnesium, calcium, copper, iron, zinc, manganese ... all necessary for the proper functioning of the body.
On the other hand, the melon is low in sugar and high in water, low in calories and its fiber help intestinal transit.
