Macroorchidism - Definition

Macroorchidism is the abnormal increase in the volume of testicles in men. This disorder occurs mainly in genetic diseases and in particular the fragile X syndrome, which combines predominant malformations in the face, mental retardation, and macroorchidism. This increase in male sex glands usually starts after puberty, and the volume of the testes is greater than 30 milliliters.
