Mesotherapy - Definition

Mesotherapy is a procedure involving several subcutaneous drug injections performed simultaneously using one or several needles. The idea is to inject a very small amount of drugs directly into the painful area of ??the body to treat. This very localized treatment has two big advantages over oral administration: injections would act much faster, and the amount of necessary drugs would be greatly reduced. Mesotherapy is most commonly used to relieve pain immediately, especially muscle pain in some sports or in certain rheumatic diseases. The virtues of mesotherapy are also used for other types of disorders such as certain allergic or infectious diseases, migraines, and sometimes in aesthetic medicine.
