Definition

In humans, the clavicle is a bone belonging to the shoulder. It is just more precisely between the sternum and scapula.
The shape of the clavicle reminds the letter S.
Clavicle notably enables the arm movements of large amplitude. Bone easily exposed to shocks in a fall or accident can break the clavicle. Treatments vary depending on the severity of the fracture. Most often, it is to wear orthopedic rings to reduce the fracture. In the most severe cases, surgery may be considered.
