Complicated situation:
I am pregnant and I can't stop smoking this is so very difficult for me. My mother-in-law spends her time giving me advice on how to do or not.
She too did smoke during her pregnancy and did not breastfeed her children. How to stop? I am at 5 month and I wish to change things.
My baby is for now in excellent health according to the gynecologist.

Hello,

You really have to quit smoking, the best is to get help from a specialist. Ask for an appointment and your doctor will give you a treatment adapted to your situation.

Good luck.

The first step towards stopping cigarette has already started for you dearest.

What I mean is that you are able to realize that cigarette is not a good thing and that it is a bad habit.

You should now convince yourself to stop gradually, do not be extremist and give yourself time.
In fact smoking might also cause some damages to your child brain and lung.

Be careful, mother always knows what the best thing to do.
