Hello,
my husband has just been diagnosed an abdominal aortic aneurysm of 3.6 in diameter.

I am afraid for him as he has a job that demands a lot of physical effort. He is in the removal of heavy machinery and I want to know if this work might be harmful for his life.

I mean is there a possibility that the aneurysm worsen or burst?

Thank you
Hi your doctor is in better position to reply to this question as he has got in hand your documents.
It all depends on the physical condition of your husband and in my opinion it is better for him to avoid straining himself.
Try to ask the question to the doctor in pointing out the profession of your man.
Good luck.

Thank you
The best is to avoid as each physical efforts that we do daily requires physical power and here in moving huge stuff he might do the wrong action and cause a burst.

Take care
