Hi there I have had a navel piercing for 3 months.

Everything was going smoothly till the moment I tried to remove the piercing to change it.

I had difficulty in removing it so I put it back in its place (with pain).

Now it pains much more, it has turned red and there is a yellowish liquid coming out from it as well as crust.

What should I do?

Thank you
Hi,
You must have hurt the piercing channel while putting it back. The best thing to do is to keep on cleaning it properly like at the beginning. The liquid which is called lymph turn out to crust once it dries which is normal. Normally such piercing takes around 6 months to heal completely else see your piercer who will advise accordingly. Take care.

Thank you
There's a possibility it could be infected. If you have pus coming out, it remains painful and red I would get it checked out.

Good luck
