Hello I read some research lately and I wanted to know if back pain can be inherited. Example the disc related problems too do we have same from one generation to the other or not. Thanks for your answers.

This is a difficult question, it depends on what type of back problem you are talking about. There is no evidence of back problems being hereditory unless it could be a bone disease that is inherited. I to have read about the role genes play in the Painful Disc Disorder but honestly I would need to know more about this subject. Take care and good luck in your research.

Hi according to be, back pain are not inherited but this is such a common problem that we tend to think that they might be inherited and passed on from generations to the other. Well in the case where in the family there are bones inherited disorders then the back pain would be inherited from one to another, but only in situation where there is an illness.
