Return to exercise

I have gone jogging to the park this morning after a 3 year break in any form of exercise at all. I am experiencing a very bad pain in the knees, please tell me what I need to do.

You have put stress on your ligaments I believe, please have them bandages for keeping them warm. This will relieve the pain gradually and also help to heal up more quickly.
You must never start intense work outs if you start getting through it after so many years, you must increase the intensity gradually instead.
