Hello,
I would like to know how many types of leukemia exist please.

My father passed away with one of them and no one at home is able to explain.

The cancer was diagnosed and after 3 months he passed away leaving no time for us to understand anything.

Hi to you your story is very sad and I congratulate you for your courage and you need to keep going strong.

There are 4 types of Leukemia that varies from in characteristics, some can be mostly found in men, or in children or in people of certain age groups. Some of the leukemia are treatable and others are not leaving at least 5 years for the patient.

Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (ALL),
Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL)
Acute Myelogenous Leukemia (AML)
Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia (CML)
