Fighting stress

I really want to get rid of that but it is not as simple as it looks. Each time a stress myself out, I forget everything. I would like to know if there are possible techniques so as to erase that trouble.

Music would be a great remedy to that. Always listen to smooth beats like jazz or classical music. Inhale and exhale, take a break and try to relax also. It worked for me anyway.
