Hello,
There are different cases but the main one remains the blockage of the fallopian tube or low sperm count.
Take care.

In woman, problems like ovarian cyst, fallopian tube, uterus infection, thyroid, irregular periods, endometriosis and various other reproductive issues which are responsible for infertility.
On the hand man's problems are related to sperms issues and hormonal issues.
Infertility can be hereditary.

PCOS, blocked fallopian tubes can be a few reasons for infertility. However, the cause of infertility is not always clear. There are also cases where the cause of infertility remains unknown and infertility treatments like IVF or surrogacy seem a better option. It is always a good idea to take the specialized infertility tests to determine whether you're infertile and what may be the cause.

Yes, in today's fast paced life, people do not have time to focus on a healthy lifestyle by adding exercise to their routine. And the every day stress for some people becomes a reason to indulge in alcohol and smoking. That too can cause many problems including infertility.

You are right on kate, I recently came across a post where the lady shared how her somoking and drinking led to her not being able to conceive. I feel so sad for people whose lifestyle comes in their way of becoming a parent.

I agree with the point being made about the unbalanced diet. I had a friend who was diagnosed infertility and the factors like stress, depression and unbalanced diet had led to her problems.

True, kate_09, it is always better to consult a specialist if you wish to find the actual cause of your infertility. Because knowing the cause can actually tell you what treatment you should opt for.

I also feel, that if you have become infertile, that too causes depression and even then, it is not a good time to be depresses. There are treatments an you can conceive through DE IVF, but that too requires you to be strong and depression and stress can again cause you to lose your chance of becoming a happy parent,

Hello to you dear. I hope you're doing fine. I guess the question itself isn't clear honey! Then again there is no way to make this question clearly. You seen at different places different causes. It's hard to say in general. However here in the US at least. There are three main factors. Blocked fallopian tubes, Physical problems with the uterus, Uterine fibroids. There obviously apply for girls. For males it's different story. For them it usually low sperm count. However you should not neglect poor sperm health. It is a great factor too. I hope this answer your question somewhat.
