Hello,

i'm 16 and i would like to know a little bit more about contraception methods please.

Well i am interested in starting birth control pills but this makes me afraid, i don't know about taking weight or changes in my body.

Hey,

still your young for same, but this is the best way to protect yourself against pregnancy, but you need to consider condoms due to stds.

See the gynecologist who will give you the appropriate pills and explain how to follow the planning. And no it does not make you take weight, some people got bigger breast but nothing extreme.

Hormonal contraceptives are not advisable for a young girl as you. ...they do have side effects and you may become immune to them when you need them most. I second Barbie890, try condoms and seek medical advise from a gynae
