It's been a few weeks that my mother is experiencing slight pain and discomfort while eating. She used to brush after every meal and used to maintain good oral hygiene. So we didn't think it would be a big dental problem. But when we consulted a doctor, we get to know that she has some deep cavity problems. She had a detailed scan and the doctor suggested an emergency root canal treatment (https://www.milltowndental.com/other-services/root-canal-treatment/ ). She asked about having filling but as the cavity grew deeper doctor suggested that filling won't be useful anymore! She got an appointment for coming Monday from Milton. But she is scared about the procedure. So I would like to know what to expect during the procedure. If anyone has any prior experience with root canal treatment, please let me know. I really want to help her to prepare for the treatment. Any help would be highly appreciated.
