Hello,
I spend a lot of time in front of my PC (2 years) and as I don't wear glasses, I would like to know how to protect my eyes from computer eye strain? Thanks in advance
Nice suggestions by soap12. but i would like to add 2 more things.
1# During the day try to change the focus of your eyes to an object at least 4-6 feet away every 15-20 minutes.
2# Try to avoid long hours with your PC especially with mouse as it may increase the chances of Carpel Tunnel Syndrome.
I am doing a presentation regarding this if you need I can send it to you.
I am also practice these tips as I also spend a lots of time with PCs.
If you google all the usual protocol for eye strain / CVS is out there this is common knowledge...
e.g.
Eye exam, Use proper lighting, Minimize glare, Upgrade your display, Adjust the brightness and contrast of your computer screen, Blink more often, Exercise your eyes, Take frequent breaks etc
Take a look at www.eyescience.co.uk can dramatically reduce eye strain and fatigue.
