Hello,
I want to know whether there is any special diet whilst pregnant? I mean things that you can and can't eat and will help the proper growth of the baby.
Thank you.

Firstly you need to be taking folic acid supplements. You need to eat a healthy diet full of fresh fruit and veg. Avoid foods high in fat and you don't need to consume extra calories. You need to avoid foods that are un-pasturised including milk and cheese, uncooked meats and fish, shellfish, raw or undercooked meats, liver, tuna, marlin and sword fish, caffeine and alcohol. Make sure food is cooked through and ensure good hand hygiene at all times. See the NHS website for more information https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/pregnancy-and-baby/healthy-pregnancy-diet/
